Progress 4–25–2024

This week, I had to make a pivot from my original project idea. Originally, I was working with another student on a short horror animation in which I would provide the sound effects for. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I will now be working on my own project that will be displayed in the showcase. Because of this, I had to come up with a new idea for the project since I will not have any visual aspect anymore.

My new plan is to use the sounds that I have already recorded to create a horror soundscape. The soundscape would tell the story of someone trapped in a pitch black pit when a monster’s walks out of its cage and walks around the listener. This new plan allows me to utilize the sound effects I have already created and removes the need for a visual aspect and allows people to focus only on the sound.
